After one of the closest tussles for some years, the trophy has returned to the Hairmyres Hospital trophy cabinet. The team from Monklands Hospital led the field going into the second game. They could not, however, sustain the momentum and were overtaken in the second game by Hairmyres. The winning team is shown below.
