This bi-monthly bulletin is produced by the Department of Health and is designed to keep healthcare scientists abreast of the latest national health news, service innovation and research and developments as the NHS continues to expand and change.
This bulletin is available to all healthcare scientists at www.dh.gov.uk/publicationsandstatistics/bulletins/chiefscientificofficerbulletin .
We would also encourage healthcare scientists to subscribe to this e-mail alert which is sent out with a printer-friendly version of the bulletin when each new edition is published.
In parallel with this process, the Staff Side set up a wider reference group of lay members and full time officers to help develop this work. The reference group met with Staff Side leads from seven of the Early Implementers.
