There is currently a dearth of information on how A&C jobs will fit onto the new Agenda for Change (AfC) pay scales. This is because the vast majority of A&C jobs have yet to be evaluated. It is now clear from staff side organisations, the DOH and Early Implementer sites that is quickly becoming a priority for future work.
Amicus through working with members in clinical areas have greatly improved the evaluation outcomes for members undertaking these roles. In order that we can identify roles for evaluation and verify the evaluation outcomes Amicus is intending to set up an A&C contact group to undertake this work. We hope that there will be little need for meetings and work can be carried out electronically.
