The National rollout of Agenda for Change is dominated in the first part by the matching of posts to national job profiles. From the beginning of January all NHS employers have had access to the Computer Assisted Job Evaluation (CAJE). The attached guidance
has been agreed by the NHS staff council executive to enable employers to move from practice matching to CAJE on a partnership basis.
Paragraph three of the guidance advises that priority should be given to those staff groups where overtime is a significant issue.
It recommends that the nursing, midwifery and health visiting job family should be transferred to CAJE at an early stage in the process.
