Glasgow & West of Scotland Group Meetings
The next Group Meeting will be the Annual Quiz on 12th February.

Staffing
Wishaw Hospital had an unexpectedly early maternity leave D grade. A B grade vacancy has been appointed but not yet started. They will also have a C grade vacancy from 9/2/04.
Inverclyde Royal Hospital has one D grade clinical vacancy which was to be advertised in January. Lomond & Argyll have 0.6WTE post available in Dunoon Hospital. Advertisements for 7 medicines management technicians within NHS Argyll & Clyde are expected soon.

Organisational Changes
Discussions on the integration of Trusts into NHS Argyll & Clyde are still ongoing. No decisions have yet been made on structures for a number of healthcare professionals, including pharmacy, but it is hoped there will be something shortly.

Amicus-MSF Senior Reps Meeting 1/12/03
The meeting was informed of the implications of the new Amicus Rule Book on local Committees, Conferences and other meetings.

Agenda For Change
Several reps were due to attend Whitehall College for the NHS Reps course.

Membership
I have processed 4-5 new membership forms since the last meeting.

Advice
I have provided advice to a number of members on various issues.
