Due to annual leave, I must give my apologies for this meeting.

Group Meetings
There have been no meetings of the local group since the last Council meeting. The AGM has not yet been rearranged. No syllabus meeting for next year has yet been arranged.

Agenda for Change
This rumbles on and takes up a significant amount of my time e.g. commenting on job descriptions, matching etc.

Organisational Change
The Scottish Executive has launched a consultation on the dissolution of Argyll & Clyde Health Board. The losses incurred by the Board were substantial and money has apparently been found to wipe them out. The area is to be split between Greater Glasgow and Highland Health Boards.

Discussions in Glasgow are ongoing as to where pharmacy will sit in the new single service structure and who will lead the service.

Membership
I have processed around 3 new membership forms since the last meeting and dealt with a couple of membership queries and problems.
