Group Meetings
There have been no meetings of the local group since the last Council meeting. The AGM has not yet been rearranged. No syllabus meeting for this year has yet been arranged. Local reps decided that a meeting to discuss Council reorganisation was not required, as members were unlikely to attend.

Agenda for Change
NHS Lanarkshire has informed staff that no job descriptions will be accepted after 11th November. Apparently, “Job descriptions submitted after this date will be returned to the manager unmatched and staff will be assimilated onto the new pay scales as part of the staff group to which they belong.” This does not appear to be consistent with the agreed process.

I have now been trained as a KSF facilitator and am sure that this will be useful in the coming months / years.

I have also attended the first meeting of a group set up to look at KSF in pharmacy in Greater Glasgow.

Organisational Change
There is still very little information about how the various departments, functions and staff will be integrated into NHS Greater Glasgow when the dissolution of NHS Argyll & Clyde goes ahead.

Membership
I have processed a number of new membership forms since the last meeting.
