Agenda for Change
The Chief Pharmacist profile is now ready to go to JEWP for ratification. Apparently, the pre-registration pharmacist profile is being held back for benchmarking against other similar training roles. The GHP matching guide appears to be working quite well. It is agreed, though, that some specialist posts will have to go through the full JAQ/JE process. Matters regarding unsocial hours and on-call are still under discussion.

The GHP AFC bulletin is being well received, with grateful thanks to the author.

Richard Cattell reported on the meeting at RPSGB on KSF issues. It looks as if the final draft of the Pharmacy version will not be ready until late 2005. The KSF Development Group is looking to map competencies surrounding administration of medicines. The next draft version should be due out in June.
